JC de JC was founded on a simple conviction: that a woman should feel entirely herself in what she wears, without having to announce it.

The Design

We work in lace, silk and tweed — materials that hold a shape and soften with wear. Our pieces are cut close where structure matters and left to fall where it does not. Detail is applied by hand: a floral appliqué at the shoulder, a scalloped edge traced along a neckline, pleating measured to the millimeter.

The ornament here is never filler. Each bloom and each length of lace is the hardest work in the atelier, and the reason we can only make small runs.

The Making

Every piece is made in our own atelier in Vietnam, in small runs. Our seamstresses have worked with us for years, and the hand-finished detail on our lace and 3D floral pieces is theirs.

Producing in limited quantity is a deliberate choice. It lets us hold a standard we could not hold at volume, and it means the piece you buy is not one of thousands.

The Wearer

Our customer does not have to try for attention. She is dressing for a day that asks something of her: a meeting she has prepared for, a dinner that matters, a celebration among people she loves.

We design for those days.
