Our pieces are made to last well beyond a season. How you care for them decides how long.

Lace & 3D Floral Appliqué

• Dry clean only
• Never machine wash — agitation loosens hand-applied detail
• Store flat or hang with the floral detail facing outward
• Do not fold appliqué inward; the shape will not recover
• Iron on low heat through a cloth, avoiding the appliqué entirely

Silk

• Dry clean recommended for structured pieces
• Hand wash cold with a mild detergent if the label allows
• Never wring — press the water out between towels
• Dry flat away from direct sunlight, which fades color
• Iron on the reverse while slightly damp

Tweed

• Dry clean only
• Brush gently along the weave to lift surface dust
• Hang on a padded hanger to hold the shoulder line
• Give tweed room in your closet; tweed holds a crease

Pleated Pieces

• Hang to dry — never tumble dry
• Do not iron pleats flat; the fold is set into the fabric
• Store hanging, gathered loosely rather than pressed

Linen & Cotton

• Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle
• Wash with similar colors
• Hang to dry; heat sets creases permanently
• Iron while slightly damp for a smooth finish

General

• Air a garment after wearing rather than washing it every time
• Treat marks promptly — set stains are far harder to lift
• Keep fragrance and hairspray away from lace and silk
• Store out of direct sunlight
